Akinwumi Sowore proceeded to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko for his bachelors degree in Political Science Education (B.Sc, ed.) and graduated with a Second Class in 2011. He proceeded to the University of Rhold Island, U.S.A and obtained certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies in 2007. Afterwards, Hon. Sowore was admitted into Igbinedion University Okada, Edo State in 2011 where he obtained bachelor’s degree in Law (LL. B) in 2016. He subsequently proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus in 2017 and was called to bar in 2018. He proceeded to the School of Post Graduate, University of Abuja between 2019 and 2021. Akinwumi Sowore started his political career as a Special Adviser on Community Development Matters to the Chairman Ese-Odo Local Government Area in 2002 to 2004. Premised on his passion to take up a more challenging career and to further positively influence the society, he joined the Civil Service of Ondo State as Community Development Officer in Ese-Odo Local Government in 2005. He was thereafter appointed as Caretaker Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government between 2011 and 2013. He subsequently served as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State in 2015 and 2016. He also served as Special Adviser on Legal Matter to the Distinguished Senator who represented Ondo South Senatorial District in 2019 and 2020. He was also Special Adviser to the Chairman House Committee on Niger Dental Development Commission (NDDC) member the presenting Akoko North/East/South Worth between 2019 and 2022. In the course of his career, he has demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities that have positively motivated the people. Hon.
